it is water soluable, so get a very wet sponge (hot water) and soak it until it softens and you can get it up out of your carpet.

Perfect Tear Chrome Paper Towel Holder, Horizontal Wall-Mounted

Posted by admin on December 30th, 2012 and filed under Wall paper | No Comments »

wall paper
ReviewThe Perfect Tear paper towel holder eliminates waste by allowing exactly the desired number of paper towel sheets to be torn off the roll with just one hand. The secret lies in the secure, horizontally wall-mounted base and the ratchet system inside the towel holder. By allowing the roll to make incremental turns in just one direction, the ratchet holds the roll steady during pulling and tearing, thus preventing unraveling.

Three parts come with this towel holder: a weighted chrome arm that protrudes five inches from the wall (two screw holes are on a two-inch center; two 1-1/8-inch screws and two plastic sleeves are included); an 11-inch metal dowel that screws into the arm and features a bullet-shape tip; and a flexible wire cage through which the central dowel passes that conforms to the inside cardboard tube of a paper towel roll. The dowel and cage attach to the arm without tools, but a Phillips-head screwdriver (and possibly a drill) is needed for the wall-mounting. Both standard and oversized rolls slide onto the holder. –Ann Bieri

How would I describe an interior design photo or plan on how it inspires me?

Posted by admin on December 27th, 2012 and filed under Interior Design | 1 Comment »

I have photos and pictures of design plans of Interior Designs and I need to write about each one on how it inspires me.
What aspects could I write about? Please help!
Please, I need more answers!!

It’s tough to answer for someone else on how pictures inspire them, but you might start by jotting down some feelings that the pictures evoke. For example, a redesign of a living room or family room may make you feel warm and family-oriented, while a remake of a home office or workspace may make you feel industrious and creative. Then try to put these feelings into paragraphs as best you can – nobody can tell you you are wrong for how you feel about a design idea, so capturing your feelings is key in my opinion. Explain to the reader how these ideas and transformations of interior spaces make you feel and how they would encourage you if they were your own real-life spaces.

Stripping wall paper when it has been painted?

Posted by admin on December 27th, 2012 and filed under Wall paper | 1 Comment »

I have walls that were Wall papered and then painted over a couple of times. I want to strip the wall paper because you can see the seams through the paint. How can I do that?

Ok i’ve done this a fair bit. Normally there is a covering on the wallpaper you get a scraper and peel this off. Then you get this stuff from the hardware in the paint section thats specially designed to remove wallpaper and you get a spray bottle (i have one of those garden sprayers you pump up) and you spray the brown paper until it is damp wait 5-10mins then get a plastic scraper (also available at hardware) and simply scrape off. The steam method only works in certain applications, and certainly worth a shot if this doesn’t nail it . make sure you thoroughly wash the walls with sugar soap before painting though because the residue from this product will tend to lift the paint if you don’t .Good luck i truly know what you are about to go through.
