Product DescriptionWhat are wall murals? Wall murals are large, scenic graphics applied to the wall much like wallpaper. Each mural consists of 8 panels, which makes them very easy for anyone to hang. A dry-strippable, cellulose paste is included with each mural, as are easy to follow instructions. Must be installed on a smooth, primered wall. Texture surfaces need to have a wall liner installed first.
Wall murals are printed on 80 lb. wet-strength paper. After printing they are finished with a light coat of varnish. They can be cleaned (but not scrubbed) with a wet sponge.

How to remove wall paper type boarders?

Posted by admin on February 18th, 2012 and filed under Wall paper | 8 Comments »

I would like to repaint my bathroom. But I need to take down the wall paper type boarder, that has been there for the last 2,000 yrs. How do I do that myself?
Is Wall paper stripper expensive? What can I expect to pay?

Get yourself a 2 1/2" flexible steel putty knife"Richards" brand. or 4" flexible spackle knife "Richards" brand.
Why I say flexible is because they are thinner than the stiff ones, and you are trying to get "under" the border paper without putting a gouge into the walls.

This job will take time; if it is old border material then perhaps it is paper so a warm wet sponge may help to redissolve the paste.
If it is newer stuff, it is most likely vinyl coated….then it should just peel off like a long piece of sticky tape.

That is not to say that you are going to get away 100% without damaging the walls. It happens. So after all the border is off, and then sponge off the glue with warm water so most of the glue is gone. Then let dry. If clumps of glue remain, no worries – use some 120 sandpaper on a sanding block and sand the glue away. Then get a small container of ready mix"Spackle" and with the putty knife or spackle knife fill in the holes and gouges that you accidently made. Allow that to dry a good couple of hours. Then block sand smooth.
A quick wipe with a dry rag on the entire wall and it is ready for paint.

I thought I’d make a video to demonstrate how to change the lock screen wallpaper on the Playstation Vita. It isn’t as apparent as changing the wallpaper on the home page, so I thought you guys might benefit from this.

If you have any questions about the PS Vita start screen, or the PSV in general, then drop a comment down below and I’ll do my best to answer it.
