How can I get oil marks out of wall paper?

the Wall paper is that bobbly sort, thats sort of spongy to the touch. The oil marks have been there for a while, but now we’re moving house we need to get them out.

I can suggest this, by using the white dough of your bread, roll it up in a ball, then rub against the wall paper. This act´s like a rubber & won´t harm the paper. might take a few try´s ,but it should lift out
