What to do to paint a wall after stripping a wall paper down?

I need to paint a wall which has worn down Wall paper and wondered what the process is before applying the paint on the walls.
Thanks

Ensure all the wallpaper is off, then sand over any spots that have residual paste left on. This will ensure that the pain will cover smoothly without any jagged bumps in it. A little extra work but well worth the results

My walls were shocking under my wallpaper – in the end I opted for a textured paint and it looks awesome!

    Good luck :-)
